Amazing Space Venture will sponsor a four-heat “coached” competition at the 2008 World Boardgaming Championships to be held at the Lancaster Host Resort in Lancaster, PA, Aug. 5 -10. Coached competitions mean that entrants don’t have to be completely familiar with how to play the game. Several demos are also being scheduled. First prize will include a copy of the Amazing Space Venture and the very first “Captain Rookie Award.” All entrants will receive a game card autographed by the game designer.

Earlier this year, Amazing Space Venture attended Prezcon in Charlottesville, VA.; debuted at RavenCon, a sci-fi convention; and also appeared at Games Club of Maryland’s 11th Annual Games Day in Timonium, MD.
